Over the past 10 years I have developed the ability to visually represent the world that interests me via my camera and computer. The world I photograph is as a traveler and naturalist and I do this with my partner in life; my wife Lynda. We are avid birders and nature lovers and have been able to travel far and wide and see most of these great United States .
Architecture, Landscapes, Animals and the Macro world are the focus of my photography and art work. My one sentence philosophy on photography is take as many as you can; shoot close and far; overlap for composite work (even up close) and somewhere in all that will be the "best" photo.
Black and White representation of my work has always been important to me; as removing color allows me to draw attention to form and content. I do not shoot B&W directly as I can "filter" my color photos on the screen. Though I print some of my work most of it is presented on the screen. I can then go back and “(re)color” my black and white work.
All of my Images have been Photoshop “rendered” in some fashion. I look at the result on the screen or print and decide if it works for me; and this is what I present.
I am a engineer by education(1969); Director of Information Systems for The State Hospitals here in Louisiana by job title; and father of twin boys (1975) by gift. We live In Baton Rouge, Louisiana (1973) and utilize the surrounding area extensively for photo opportunities. My images have been chosen to show the Louisiana I love.

LAAG has given new meaning to my work as they allow me to participate in judged shows as a member. I have won several first place awards and received honorable mention in many shows. Since our work is displayed at locations here in Louisiana I have sold several framed works.
I hope you
enjoy seeing these “
